What sets us apart

Smiling girlUniquely Licensed, Qualified and Trained

In addition to his 4 years of training at Georgetown University Dental School, Dr. Heinowitz completed 2 more years of advanced pediatric training at the world renowned Eastman Institute for Oral Health. This extra clinical education helped prepare him for the unique problems and ever-changing mouths of infants, children, teens and young adults -- including those with special needs. As a licensed pediatric dental specialist in Manalapan, NJ and Highland Park, NJ, Dr. Heinowitz’s practice only provides treatment and preventive care to this specialized subset of the population. Just as you wouldn’t take your child to an internist for their check-ups or sick visits, why should a family or general dentist suffice when it comes to something as important as your child’s smile and oral health?

Prevention, Early Detection and Education

Our practice’s primary focus is on prevention, early detection and education. Dr. Heinowitz firmly believes that the best approach to a child’s dental health is to be pro-active and proceed with the least invasive care possible. Our goal is to get your child on track for a lifetime of good dental health while reducing the risk of future cavities and oral health issues. By providing our patients with the tools necessary to build a strong foundation, we can ensure that dental care is more comfortable for your child and more affordable for you.

Our Dedicated Team

Each member of our staff has been extensively trained to work with children. More importantly each of them has elected to dedicate their careers solely to working with kids and young adults. Our team loves children and it shows. As pediatric specialists, they have been trained to address the unique physiologic, emotional, and social needs of our young patients. We have committed ourselves to creating a warm, nurturing and non-threatening environment that establishes a positive and enjoyable dental experience from the start. Our staff enjoys interacting through games and role-playing, while teaching kids the valuable lesson of taking responsibility in caring for one’s teeth.
